At KIT Custom HomeBuilders, we build our manufactured homes from the ground up inside our indoor production plant in Caldwell, Idaho. For our employees, that means stability — you come to the same location every day rather than traveling to different construction sites.

Our team is made up of skilled tradespeople who bring craftsmanship to every stage of the process: chassis building, cabinetry, roofing, finish, and more. What We’re Looking For

Experience: Construction experience is always a plus, but it’s not required. Many of our team members started with little or no background in construction and have grown into successful long-term careers at KIT. If you bring motivation and a willingness to learn, we’ll provide training and support to help you succeed.

Dependability & Teamwork: Reliability is one of the most important qualities for success at KIT. Every team member contributes to keeping production moving efficiently, and we count on employees to be present and on time for their scheduled shifts. Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime and or Saturday shifts based on production needs.

Our Hiring Process

Step 1 – Apply
Submit your application through the Employment tab on our website. Applications are welcome for all open positions.

Our HR team carefully reviews each application as it comes in. If your qualifications align with an opening, we will contact you within 48 hours.

Step 3 – Interview
Interviews are scheduled at a convenient time for both you and the hiring manager. This is your opportunity to highlight your strengths, ask questions, and learn what it’s like to be part of KIT.

Step 4 – Offer or Next Steps
If selected, you’ll receive a formal job offer with details about your role, pay, benefits, and start date. If not selected, your application will remain on file for 30 days, and you are welcome to reapply after that period if a new opportunity becomes available.
