KIT Custom Homebuilders is proud to announce our partnership with the Northwest Energy Efficient Manufactured Housing Program (NEEM) as being one of the few HUD homebuilders anywhere in the USA certified to build NEEM + Plus Approved Homes. This is important because the NEEM + Plus option is the most energy efficient manufactured home available anywhere in the USA.
Together with NEEM, we developed an energy efficient package that outperforms the EPA’s Energy Star home by up to 30%. This added value saves monthly heating and cooling costs and it’s also quality built-in that will provide comfort and savings for years to come. These monthly savings will offset the initial cost, increasing your return on investment while living in maximum heating/cooling comfort for many years to come.
In large part this was achievable as a result of KIT Custom Homebuilders being one of the few manufactured home builders in the country to make Energy Star Certification standard on all of our HUD coded homes. For all KIT homeowners, the NEEM support staff is on-call to answer any future technical questions or troubleshooting of the Energy Star or the NEEM + Plus Certified Homes.
